Let’s face it: The NFT space moves really fast. Considering how quickly things can change in the metaverse, a week in NFTs might as well be a month IRL.

Don’t get us wrong — the more people onboarded into the space, the merrier. But because of the constant influx of great art and ideas, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to keep up with all the news, launches, and general happenings.

Well, you can put the days of endless Twitter and Discord scrolling behind you, as we’ll be coming up with a weekly list of upcoming NFT drops you definitely don’t want to miss.

Who: Pak

What: 7,000 collaborative NFTs

When: March 28 @ 12:30 p.m. EDT

Where: Burn.art

Why: Superstar crypto-artist Pak is gearing up for the second drop coinciding with his $ASH ecosystem. For this collection, Pak recruited 29 fellow influential creators to each submit 250 pieces alongside his own for a total of 7,000 possible tokens. The drop also includes complex mechanics that will allow users to burn tokens to morph them into something new.

Where: Nifty Gateway

Why: Sunflowers4Ukraine is an endeavor put forth by Sunflowers DAO in conjunction with a coalition of nonprofits and foundations. Although information surrounding this forthcoming Nifty Gateway drop has yet to be released, it seems the DAO behind the ongoing fundraiser will be expanding its efforts to raise money for Ukraine relief via a large-scale NFT sale.

Why: Patric Ortmann, known in the NFT community as MotionSickness, is a Germany-based visual who has provided his motion-design services to brands such as Audi, Mercedes, VW, and Nike. With his latest drop, Ortmann is endeavoring to force us to look outside our areas of comfort to discover new ways of being.

Who: Raoul Marks

What: Auctions and drawings

When: March 29 @ 6:30 p.m. EDT

Where: Nifty Gateway

Why: Raoul Marks is an Emmy-award-winning artist based in Perth, Australia. Over the years Marks has become well known for his work helping to craft title sequences for shows like True Detective, Westworld, The Crown, and more. Having only recently become involved in the NFT ecosystem, Marks is now set to debut his inaugural collection on Nifty Gateway.

Where: Nifty Gateway

Why: Viral YouTuber and multimedia artist Vexx is returning to Nifty Gateway for his fourth collection on the platform. Although the collection name and mechanics have yet to be announced, as the young artist has garnered a robust Web3 following since his first drop in April 2021, this forthcoming release will surely include rewards for collectors of his previous NG drops.

Why: Self-taught artist, designer, photographer, and creative director Chuck Anderson — known professionally as NoPattern — is set to drop his largest body of work to date. A collection featuring 99 NFTs, Anderson has teamed up with influential crypto-artist Gremplin, Case Simmons, Maalavidaa, OSEANWORLD, Ezra Miller, Jen Stark, Christian Rex van Minnen, and Joshua Davis.

Abort, Retry, Fail?

Who: Ethan Pines

What: Animated NFT photographs

Where: MakersPlace

Why: Only months after making his NFT debut, award-winning photographer Ethan Pines is set to return to MakersPlace with a collection of new artworks based on his unique portraits of Uber founder Travis Kalanick, Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai, and Ethereum co-creator Vitalik Buterin. Similar to his last collection, Pines’ new drop will serve to push the envelope of his unique style of transforming still photography into animated pieces.
