OneLand 7-day data shows land market cap for the 10 listed metaverse projects stable, up 0.22% to 776,406 ETH (or $1.401bn, +0.54%).
Land caps of several projects – most notably Decentraland (-6.1%), but also Worldwide Webb, Voxels, BYOPills, Treeverse and Arcade – appear to be on a downward trend since the start of April. But The Sandbox LANDs market cap increased this week, up 5.2% on the back of a couple 50 ETH+ sales, and is nearest to the market cap of Decentraland since flipping it in July-Aug.
Metaverse tokens were back in positive territory this week, both $SAND (+2.0%) & $MANA (+4.35%) enjoying their first 7-day increases in over a month.
Some are stipulating the buzz surrounding the impending release of Apple’s mixed-reality headset is the cause (see Market News, below). Indeed, it may have led to some traction returning to VR metaverse Somnium Space, which enjoyed 5 sales this week, impressive when you realize there was only 1 other sale in the whole of May.
Meanwhile, Otherside claimed its third 100 ETH+ sale in consecutive weeks.
