DREST, a luxury style gaming firm, has appointed Lisa Bridgett as CEO to accelerate its expansion to the metaverse. Bridgett has vast experience in e-commerce, digital, and technological solutions, having worked for large brands such as Accenture, Ralph Lauren, Net-A-Porter, and Universal Music.

Lucy Yeomans, the company’s founder and creator, will serve as co-president and head of brand and product development, focusing on the company’s collaborations, creative development, and product line.

Graham Edwards, co-president and investor, will work with the former Net-A-Porter and Harper’s Bazaar executive to explore solutions for future Metaverse technology.

The announcement comes as the luxury and leisure brand reports unprecedented YoY growth of 250 percent. With plans to accelerate even more this year, including expanding the Metaverse with gaming solutions.

The Metaverse’s Quest for DREST

Much of the Metaverse’s development has obviously been pushed by the gaming business. And DREST has grown tremendously with its own technology, focusing on the travel, beauty, fashion, and entertainment sectors, among others.

To alter the global fashion and beauty industries, the London-based business has merged many technologies. Which is including avatar development, gamification, e-commerce, advertising, marketing, and data analytics. Thus, to produce solutions for styling, content creation, and rendering.

In cooperation with Farfetch, DREST has worked with over 250 luxury labels. Including Prada, Off-White, Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Cariter, Burberry, Stella McCartney, Loewe, and Chloe. In order to create unique shopping experiences that blend the real and virtual to empower customers and corporate partners.

Notably, the company has created avatars for Irina Shayk, Natalia Vodianova, Imaan Hamman, Precious Lee, and Candice Huffine.

DREST has also increased its outreach to worldwide charities and causes by partnering with a portfolio of world-famous supermodels to match revenues by roughly 50%.
