The president of AKP said that the study should also cover other key issues

Erdoan suggested that the study include other important topics such as cryptocurrencies and social media, as well as an online forum for discussion, in which Erdoan would participate.

“This is a delicate topic that needs to be thoroughly examined,” the president told AKP officials on Metaverse.

The economic implications of Metaverse, cryptocurrency, and social media are likely to be discussed during the upcoming online forum.

The focus, on the other hand, will be on Metaverse trading. Foreign investors have purchased the House of Virgin Mary, in the Selcuk district of the western province of zmir. As well as some other museums, according to senior officials at the AKP’s central executive committee meeting, warning that this could cause problems.

Metaverse is becoming popular in Turkey

Turkish game-based metaverse platforms that some say represents the future of the internet have already auctioned thousands of virtual lands in the country, most of them in Istanbul.

Through virtual reality glasses, users will be able to access a network of 3D virtual worlds focused on social interaction.

Officials also discussed the reactions to journalist Sedef Kabaş and singer Sezen Aksu on social media platforms during the meeting. Her remarks on a private television channel resulted in Kabaş’ arrest last week after she “insulted the president”. There been some complaints about Aksu lyrics of a song of five years ago. In addition authorities said that 380,000 tweets mentioned Kabaş during his TV interview.
